Oct 14th: Pete Johansson (CA) & John Gordillo (UK) Sep 11, 2015
Flying foreigners over to Estonia is risky these days. Will they fit into our culture? How will they affect our wealth? Is it our jobs that they’re after.
We like taking risks and so we’re bringing wholly two foreigners to Tallinn in October. They have no plans of embracing the Estonian culture, they are after your money and local comics are out of work because of them. Well, et least it’ll be lots of fun.
Pete Johansson is big, loud and fast-speaking, but he has a more thoughtful side to his humour (sorry, humor). Pete begun his stand-up and TV career in Canada and USA and lives in London since 2009 where he is now a frequent headlined in The Comedy Store, other top comedy clubs and TV projects.
"Left me weak of laughter" - Spoonfed
“Provocative, surreal and moving.” - The List
“Charmingly dry and smart, Johansson is a wonderfully funny storyteller.” - Three Weeks
We’ve also invited back John Gordillo, a Perrier Award-nominated English comedian who is known for his intelligent style of humour. He’s one of the rare breed that can make you laugh and see things in a new light at the same time. John has directed shows for Eddie Izzard, created popular TV shows and toured all around the world, including Tallinn.
“if you want intelligent, moving comedy with a point, then you cannot afford to miss Gordillo.” - Chortle
“One of UK’s finest stand ups” - Evening Standard
MC Andrus Purde
